Agriculture training program was organized for registered farmers on the 28th of August 2023 at Jaina Bhavana, Puttur, in collaboration with Krishi Vigyana Kendhra Mangalore. The event was graced by esteemed chief guests, Shri Girish Nandan M, a Sub Divisional Officer, and Sub Divisional bailiffs. The resource person for this enlightening session was Mrs. Dr. Rashmi AR, a Horticulture Scientist from Krishi Vigyana Kendhra Mangalore. The event also had notable guests, including Mr. Ravikiran Punacha, State General Secretary of Karnataka State Farmers Union, Shri Kadamajalu Subhash Rai, a Vijaya Karnataka Super Star award-winning farmer and of Smt. Purnima N, Chief Executive Officer of Manasaganga Co-operative Society Limited, Puttur.
This training program aimed to empower farmers with valuable knowledge and skills in the field of agriculture. 860 Farmers have actively participated in these sessions, gained a wealth of practical skills and knowledge under the guidance of these experts. It provided them with insights into modern farming techniques and practices to enhance their agricultural endeavors.
