An agriculture training program, aimed at empowering registered farmers, took place on the 11th of September 2023 at CVC Hall, Church Road, Santhekatte, Belthangady. With the participation of 932 dedicated farmers, this event served as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and skill enhancement.
The program delved into crucial aspects of farming, including the use of fertilizers, managing plant diseases, and effective control measures. Chief Guest Shri Prabhakar Mayya Surya, a National award-winning farmer, shared his insights and experiences, inspiring the attendees. Resource person Mr. Dr. Rajkumar, Senior Scientist from ICAR CPCRI, Kasaragod, provided in-depth knowledge on modern farming techniques, emphasizing sustainable and efficient practices. Guest Shri Chandrasekhar KS, Senior Assistant Director of Horticulture, Belthangady, also contributed valuable information. This event was a vital step toward equipping local farmers with the expertise needed to improve their agricultural efforts and boost productivity.
