David Jaimy Kokkada, a farmer from Belthangady, holds a world record for pioneering a simple yet groundbreaking rainwater harvesting technique, he has been graduated with a B. Com degree. Managing crops across 2.5 acres of land, primarily cultivating rubber and coconut alongside Pineapple plantings and pepper he is also involved in beekeeping. His commitment to sharing his knowledge extends beyond the fields; through an engaging YouTube channel, David offers a window into his pioneering work, showing practical approaches to effective water management. But it doesn’t stop there. David used to conduct several awareness programs in village, schools and colleges and has bought out a book “ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಳಕಳಿಯ ಜನಪರ ಕಾಳಜಿಯ ಅಭಿಯಾನ ಒಂದು ಜಾಗ್ರಿತಿ” (The book explores the concept and importance of social awareness and aims to create consciousness and understanding among the people on social issues.)
