A formal proposal discussion was conducted with the Department of Horticulture regarding the reopening of the Thumbe Neera Project. The purpose of this discussion was to present the case for reviving and revitalizing the project, which focuses on the production and promotion of Neera, a natural sap derived from coconut inflorescence. The proposal highlighted the potential benefits of the Thumbe Neera Project, including enhanced income opportunities for farmers, economic growth in the local community, and the promotion of nutritious Neera. The discussion emphasized the importance of government support and collaboration in order to ensure the successful reestablishment of the project. By reinstating the Thumbe Neera Project, we aim to create a sustainable and prosperous ecosystem that benefits farmers, consumers, and the agricultural industry as a whole.
