Bantwal resident Chandappa Poojary, an agricultural worker a Coconut Plucker for 28 years fell down from a coconut tree that was 30 feet in height one year back and injured his spinal cord. Since then the family suffered heavily on the financial aspect due to his medical expenses. Understanding this, South Canara Coconut Farmers Producers Company Limited came forward to provide financial support to him and also requested people to come forward to help this affected family.
